Meet Our Staff

Jessica comes to North Park with a background in marketing communications and experience in copywriting, web writing, editing, and magazine production. She holds a B.S. in mass media communications/print journalism and is currently working on her master’s in nonprofit administration here at the University.

Melissa Hamming obtained her B.F.A. in Communication Design from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design, where she completed a thesis in product packaging design. She holds a graduate certificate in marketing from North Park University, and has traveled with the School of Business to Finland and South Korea. Melissa is also a volunteer board member for the nonprofit group Section 8 Chicago, where she serves as marketing director.

Lilian has extensive experience in brand management and marketing, corporate and Non-profit advertising and graphic design. She worked for numerous organizations including Operation Mobilization, Saatchi & Saatchi advertising, Transworld Radio Broadcasting and Ophir publishers. She holds a BA in Graphic Design and Fine Arts and an MA in Community development.

Ron Shaw holds three graduate degrees, an MA in Communication from the University of Illinois - Chicago, an MPA in Public Administration from Northern Illinois University and an MA in Church Leadership from Bethel Seminary. Ron lives in Albany Park with his dog Cody.

Tim White received his BA in Art at North Park University.  He has gained significant experience in graphic design and web design. He also has extensive experience in customer service and team building.  He is extremely proud to work with the Office of External Relations.
