When Can I Start?

Most students begin courses in August, January, or May. Under certain circumstances, you may begin courses in October, March, or July.

Upon your acceptance to the School of Adult Learning (SAL), your academic advisor will contact you to discuss when you wish to begin courses. Your advisor will also work with you to develop a course schedule that is convenient and meets your needs. As soon as you decide when you wish to begin courses, your advisor will help you register. Once you are registered, you’ll attend a convenient new-student orientation before your first class begins.

SAL face-to-face courses are seven weeks long and meet once a week for four hours, either on weeknights (6:00 to 9:50 pm) or on Saturday mornings (8:30 am to 12:20 pm). Most students take one course per term.
