Counseling and Social Services
Overview
Appropriate for professionals working in human services and social services, the major provides you a comprehensive overview of psychology, human development, and group dynamics and interaction. The curriculum provides a framework of how to interact with diverse populations within a range of settings, as well as the application and practice of skills designed to foster group development and interaction.

- Learn the process of human psychological development and how to diagnose causes of mental-health issues
- Apply principles of counseling to individual and social problems
