SBNM News and Events

New Second Summer Quad Beginning 2012–2013 Academic Year

Beginning with the 2013 summer semester, SBNM will offer two, seven-week summer quads. This change directly responds to student feedback suggesting a strong preference for the ability to take courses throughout the summer. The addition of a second summer quad offers several advantages for SBNM students, including:

  • The opportunity to finish certificates and degrees more quickly by taking a greater number of courses in the summer
  • Facilitating eligibility for federal loans in the summer semester
Students who wish to obtain loans must take two courses in the summer, and can now do this consecutively over two quads, instead of during a single summer quad.

You may access the 2013 summer schedule here. If you have questions regarding course scheduling for next year, please email Melissa Patterson, Graduate Advisor, or call her at 773-244-6272.
