Can I Waive or Transfer Courses?

The School of Business and Nonprofit Management allows students to waive courses (on the basis of undergraduate or graduate work) and transfer credit from accredited graduate programs.

Up to five courses in each degree may be waived if you have completed similar undergraduate or graduate courses from an accredited institution within the previous ten years and received a grade of B or higher. If the number of courses waived exceeds two, you must replace each waived course beyond the first two with an elective course. Course-waiver and transfer arrangements are granted at the time of admission, and you are not allowed to waive or transfer courses after enrolling in SBNM.

For those students who possess a management-related graduate degree from an accredited institution, a maximum of four graduate courses may transfer to North Park that have been completed in the previous 10 years with a grade of B or higher.

The minimum number of courses required for a graduate degree from the SBNM is 12.
