MA in Education
Earn a Master of Arts in Education Degree
The Master of Arts in Education (MAE) program is designed for certified teachers who wish to earn a master’s degree while continuing their career in teaching. Most candidates complete their master’s degree in part-time evening courses in two to two and a half years. Evening and summer courses are offered in three locations: Chicago, Crystal Lake and Arlington Heights. Evening classes generally start around 6:00 pm and meet once a week. New terms begin each year in the fall.
