Undergraduate School of Education

Become certified to teach children from birth to age 8.

Become certified to teach students in Illinois from kindergarten through ninth grade.

Become certified to teach middle school and high school students (grades 6-12) in Illinois.

Specialized certification to teach art, French, music, physical education, or Spanish in grades for students from kindergarten through high school.

In order to teach in Illinois public schools from preschool through high school, you must have a valid teaching certificate. You can earn your certificate in North Park’s School of Education through undergraduate, graduate and non-degree programs.

A short-term study experience in the birthplace of ancient educational process: Greece.

Undergraduates begin their application to the School of Education by applying to the University through Undergraduate Admissions.
