Concert Band

Dr. Joe Lill, Conductor

Since 1992 the Concert Band has been conducted by Joe Lill. This group is dedicated to the performance of band and wind ensemble music, balancing pieces written specifically for winds and percussion with transcriptions of music originally set for other genres. The Concert Band performs at least one on-campus concert per semester, and also has performed in chapel services and at graduation. In recent years the ensemble has performed joint concerts with Northwestern College (Northfield, Minn.) and Chicago’s Northside College Prep High School.

Open to music majors and non-music majors; no audition is required.
