University Chamber Orchestra

Directed by Dr. Tom Zelle and devoted to the study and preparation of orchestral literature from the Baroque era to the present through regular rehearsal and performance, the University Chamber Orchestra periodically collaborates with vocalists to present choral and operatic literature and to tour.

This ensemble is comprised of music majors and non-majors and meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 to 5:30 pm in Hanson Hall, room H23. Auditions are held at the beginning of each semester and can be scheduled by contacting the School of Music office or the director.

Audition Information:

Auditions required and are five to seven minutes in length. Students should prepare one short piece or movement of their choice. Auditions may include some sight-singing/playing.
