Opera Workshop

Opera Workshop provides training in the techniques of the singer/actor, emphasizing movement, character analysis, and ways in which music offers clues to stage action. Performances include annual scene recitals, and full operas, alternating annually with orchestra and/or with piano accompaniment, giving breadth to the operatic experience. The Opera Workshop meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:40-1:20. Open to music majors and non-majors by audition.
