Undergraduate School of Music
From orchestral to choral, Gospel to opera, chamber to jazz, seven major ensembles give on-campus and local performances, and many of them tour domestically and internationally. The opportunities for students to get involved and work with highly gifted and approachable faculty are myriad. Music majors prepare for careers including teaching, opera, and roles as worship leaders. Students majoring in other fields are actively involved with the music ensembles, as well, enriching their college experience while contributing to the cultural life of the campus. The number and range of music venues to be enjoyed throughout Chicago is astounding.
