Application Process

Applications to the MS and post-MS programs are accepted for the Fall, Spring, and Summer terms. Admission criteria includes compliance with admission requirements, evaluation of undergraduate academic performance and work experience, and it may also include an interview with members of the committee.

Application Deadlines

  • Fall: August 1
  • Spring: December 1
  • Summer: April 15

For term start dates, see the academic calendar for the year you're interested in.

We encourage you to apply well in advance of the semester in which you wish to begin classes. Registration for new students closes when classes are full (or approximately two weeks prior to the semester start date, whichever comes first). It is important to plan ample time to prepare for your first class and complete mandatory orientation activities. Early application and registration also ensure a greater selection of course options for you, as classes tend to fill up as each semester approaches.

Your application file must be complete in order to verify completion of all admission requirements. Once your file is complete, a formal admission decision is made by the Graduate Selection and Progression Committee.

Qualified applicants to the post-graduate certificate programs must submit all required application materials and must meet with a graduate advisor prior to registering for any courses.
