RN to BS Nursing Program
Application Process
Ongoing Application
North Park's admission process for the RN to BS program is ongoing for the fall, spring, and summer terms.
Prospective students are encouraged to apply well in advance of the semester in which they intend to begin classes. It is important to plan ample time to prepare for your first semester of classes and complete required orientation activities. Early application and registration also ensure a greater selection of course options, as classes tend to fill up as each semester approaches.
Summer 2013 Term: Summer classes begin May 13. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
North Park utilizes an online admissions system for our applications. This allows you to start an application and save your progress, or complete it from start to finish at one time.
When you click on the application link, you'll be prompted to create an account in this system. If you have previously created an account, you can select the "log in" option at the top of the window.
Step 2: Request Official Transcripts
Request transcripts from all previously attended colleges and universities. Official transcripts must be received in sealed envelopes directly from the school of issue. Applicants who have completed coursework outside of the United States need to submit an evaluation of foreign transcripts either by Educational Credential Evaluators or World Education Services. Contact either organization directly and have them send the course-by-course report to:

Evaluation of Transfer Credit
Students who submit an application and transcripts will soon get a transfer credit evaluation, which is completed by North Park's records evaluator. Once we have the results of this evaluation, you will be ready to meet with your academic advisor for course planning and registration.
