Application Process

Thanks for your interest in North Park University's undergraduate nursing program. Applying to the nursing program is a two step process.

Step One: Apply to the University

Mandatory Requirements for the Nursing Program

Completion of all Nursing Prerequisites with a C or better (No more than 2 may be repeated, of which only 1 may be a science)

  • Cumulative College GPA of 2.75/4.0 or better
  • Successful Completion of the Test of Essential Academic Skills.
  • Recommendation Form filled out by a faculty member or a health care professional addressing suitability for the nursing profession.
  • Application to the Nursing Major - To be completed during application meeting; cannot be submitted otherwise.

Step Two: Apply to the Nursing Program

The application meeting should take place after starting classes at North Park University and at least one semester prior to the anticipated start of the program. Application to the program will not be complete without an application meeting. Once accepted at North Park University, Professor Mary Lynch, undergraduate nursing advisor, can be contacted by email to make an appointment.
