Summer Session 2010
The Summer Session atmosphere is relaxed and the tuition is reduced, at $485 per undergraduate credit hour — but the academics are for real. Courses are the same over the summer as during the rest of the year. In fact, most of North Park's Summer Session courses are taught by our own full-time faculty, known for excellent classroom teaching, achievement in their fields, and strong professional ties. Summer Session students include adults, transfer students from other colleges, and North Park students.
North Park is convenient. The main campus is located very close to public buses and trains, and ample on-street and lot parking is available. (University parking lots require a parking permit.)
For questions regarding Summer Session email Dr. Joe Lill or phone him at (773) 244-5634.
There are four different terms during Summer Session, starting in May, June, and July 2010. This calendar sorts them all out.
You can choose from among dozens of summer courses, everything from Foundations of Finance to Amusement Park Physics. Courses, instructors, times — all the details are right here. (The schedule is updated frequently, so check back often.)
Practically anyone can audit a Summer Session class. Auditors come from all walks of life, and they audit classes for a variety of reasons. If you don't need to receive academic credit, this is a good way to save a little money.
