Sohlberg Hall

Sohlberg Hall is conveniently located on the northwest side of North Park University by the library. There are three floors of living space and a basement.

The first floor of Sohlberg houses 16 men, housed in two wings separated by a lobby. The second and third floors accommodate 37 men each in both single, double, and triple rooms. Each floor has two bathrooms. The rooms for residents are supplied with a bed, desk, chair, dresser, and closet. The rooms in Sohlberg are not carpeted, so many students bring area rugs or carpets to make their room reflect who they are.

Also located on the first floor are the front desk, computers, the resident director's apartment and office, and a lobby for people to hang out in.

Located in the basement are classrooms, a TV lounge, and a study area. In the TV lounge there is a 32-inch TV, a pool table, a ping-pong table, and plush couches and chairs. With the walls decorated with pictures of oceans and snow covered mountain tops, the atmosphere in the TV lounge is one of comfort and high spirit. Available at the front desk to check out are: cleaning supplies, pool balls and cues, and ping-pong equipment.

Sohlberg's friendly community and small size offers the perfect atmosphere for a quiet night of studying or a night of socializing at the desk or in the lounge.
