Students generally take 4-5 courses during each semester for a total of 14-16 semester hours (sh). We are asking you to select several courses as options so that we may create a schedule with which you are comfortable, giving you the greatest opportunity for success.
You will not take all courses you select nor will you meet all the requirements in your first semester. To learn more about each of the courses listed below, see the North Park Catalog.
The categories listed below are General Education requirements. If your intended major(s) you identified earlier require you to take a course during your first semester, this course will be selected first and then your General Education preferences.
