What’s in your future? What are your biggest dreams?
At North Park University, we don’t think the answers to these questions should be distantly related. College can be a crucial step in the journey toward what you want to do and how you hope to impact the lives of others.
Maybe you’re headed toward medical school and a career in a bustling metropolitan hospital—major in biology, chemistry, or physics, and take advantage of research opportunities and the new Johnson Center for Science and Community Life. Our pre-professional faculty advisors have worked with hundreds of students headed toward medicine, dentistry, veterinary, occupational therapy, and physical therapy careers. Like alumni Dr. Sean Welander and Becky Morrison, you will receive personalized guidance as you prepare for graduate school entrance exams and interviews.
Perhaps you, like recent alumna Amy Russell, dream of walking across Africa to raise awareness about the need for clean water and money to make a difference in millions of lives. You can major in nonprofit management and get involved in outreach and service activities in Chicago and around the globe while you plan the adventure of your life.
Or maybe you don’t yet know what your dream career is, but you know that you want a college experience that will help you find it. Dozens of students start out that way and choose majors ranging from philosophy to French to sociology that end up taking them on great adventures. Just ask alumni David D’Antonio, Karen Kelly, and Sharon Hughes: they found that North Park offers both academic rigor and a supportive community of peers and professors.
Like our alumni did, you will find a welcoming community that encourages you to explore faith, culture, and your own dreams. You’ll have sports teams to cheer to victory, a state-of-the art recreation center to play in, and plenty of space across campus to create your own fun. North Park’s Core Curriculum is a great way to try out a wide range of majors, and programs like Bridge, First Year Experience, and Student Government Association create opportunities for you to find friends with similar interests and get involved in dozens of clubs and activities.
Located in Chicago (yes, really in the city), North Park University is the ideal college experience no matter your dream or goal: an affordable, challenging, and interdisciplinary liberal arts and sciences education in a world-class city and diverse faith community. Since 1891, we’ve equipped students to lead lives of significance and service. We’d be honored to count you among this group. Keep exploring to learn more about how you, like thousands before, can find your future at North Park.
