Don’t hesitate to contact us if we can provide you with more details or help arrange a campus visit for you or your students.
College Credit Earned in High School
North Park accepts credit toward University degree requirements from Advanced Placement tests, International Baccalaureate exams, CLEP tests, and college-level coursework completed as part of a high school program. We also offer options for subject placement testing in foreign languages, math, music, and writing. Learn more about how your students can take advantage of these options.
Lighthouse Cohort Program
North Park created the Lighthouse Cohort Program to offer academic and financial support for first-generation college students from urban areas of the United States. Many students in Lighthouse Cohorts have participated in college readiness programs during high school, though that is not a requirement.
Each year, 15 first-year students are invited to join a new cohort. Learn more.
Located in Chicago, we take our urban setting seriously, asking our faculty and students to find ways to engage the city in their learning. We also encourage students to explore their values and faith in the classroom and through a wide range of student activities, welcoming all voices to the conversation.
