Recommended High School Curriculum

North Park University recommends a well-balanced college preparatory curriculum, which should consist of:

Four years of English

• grammar
• literature
• composition

Three years of mathematics

• algebra
• geometry
• calculus

Three years of science

• biology
• chemistry
• physics
• physical science

Three years of history and/or social studies

• world history
• geography
• psychology
• sociology
• philosophy
• economics

Two years of foreign language minimum; four years recommended

• French, German, Japanese, Spanish, etc.
