Applying for Financial Aid
• Apply for admission to North Park.
• Fill out the FAFSA. The FAFSA will help us to determine your eligibility for federal, state, and/or institutional aid. Here's a two-minute video that helps orient you to the process:
While it can seem like an overwhelming process to complete, the website will provide you with detailed instructions and smart logic that will skip over questions that don't apply to you. The FAFSA is the best way for the Financial Aid Office to gain a comprehensive understanding of your family's financial situation so that we can provide you with the best financial aid package. In order to sign your FAFSA electronically, you must obtain a PIN. If you are a dependent student, your parent must apply for his/her own PIN to sign the FAFSA as well. North Park's school code is 001735.
Once you file your FAFSA, you will be able to review your information in the form of a Student Aid Report (SAR). Look it over and make sure the information listed is correct. If you need to make any corrections to your information, do so online. As long as North Park is listed on your FAFSA, we will receive your information electronically.
Once you are admitted and we have received your FAFSA information, a financial aid package will be created for you.
If you are transferring from another school, make sure that you add North Park to your FAFSA. You can add North Park's school code (001735) using FAFSA on the Web. Your financial aid does not transfer from school to school, so your financial aid may not be comparable to your last school of attendance.
