Tuition and Fees

There are three questions to ask when it comes to college costs:

  • What is the cost?
  • What will I actually pay?
  • Is it a good value?

Many students qualify for scholarships and other forms of financial aid, which help make the actual out-of-pocket costs more affordable. Our monthly payment plan helps even more.

While affordable, we know that it will still require sacrifice, summer employment, and loans for most students to fully finance a North Park University education. But the straightforward approach to tuition and fees at North Park helps keep things understandable and manageable.

Basic Costs

Most students are billed annually as follows: 2013–2014
Tuition    $23,290
Room and Board (15-meal plan) and activity fee   $8,040
Total   $31,330

Students may choose variations on the standard meal plan or single occupancy rooms, which will modify the above projections. Some courses have lab fees, while students in the music program may pay extra for private lessons. However, there are no other hidden fees applied to all students.

We estimate that you will spend about $1,000 per year on books. Many students resell their books at the end of the term when they have completed their coursework. We estimate about $1600 per year for personal expenses, $400 for transportation for a resident student, and $900 for transportation for a commuter student. Loan fees are estimated at $50 per year.
