ATLAS Database Access Now Open to All Alumni

Brandel Library and the Alumni Relations department are pleased to announce an exciting new benefit for North Park alumni, provided through funding from a multi-year grant from the American Theological Library Association (ATLA) and supported by generous funding from Lilly Endowment Inc.

North Park Alumni can now access ATLASerials® (ATLAS®), an online collection of more than one hundred forty major religion and theology journals selected by leading religion scholars and theologians. Through the ATLAS database, alumni can research the history of a topic from as early as 1924 to the present through more than 266,900 articles and book reviews combined. Currently, researchers are able to use ATLAS as a search tool to retrieve PDFs of the pages in more than one hundred thirty different journals, with fully searchable text that allows for keyword proximity and citation set searches.

Available titles include the Journal of Biblical Literature, Interpretation, Journal of Youth Ministry, Church History, and the Journal of Pastoral Care and Counseling.

Access is open to all North Park University Alumni.
