Swedish-American Archives of Greater Chicago Book Collection

The SAAGC book collection is cataloged along with the larger North Park University library collection in the online catalog.  The special collection is for in-house use only.  Contact the Archives if you find a title with a location code "Archives -- Swedish-American Archives of Greater Chicago".

Digital Collection

The Swedish-American Historical Quarterly is now full-text searchable online.

Photograph Collection

The SAAGC print photograph contains over 400 images of Swedish-American life in Chicago. The collection is indexed in a database at the Archives.

Databases and Indexes 

The Archives has indexed member lists of Swedish-American fraternal organizations (Bohus Society, Club Dalarna, Linnea Aid Society, Nordic Country Club, Swedish Educational League, Swedish Engineers’ Society, and American Daughters of Sweden).

Manuscript Collections

Manuscript collections include organizational records of local Swedish-American groups and personal papers of Swedish-Americans.
