The Individual Donor Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing Mano a Mano Family Resource Center’s individual donor development strategy. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Individual Donor Manager will be responsible for achieving the agency’s individual fundraising goals. This includes leveraging key
relationships within and outside Lake County to ensure meeting Mano a Mano’s revenue goals. A new position in the organization, the Individual Donor Manager will have the opportunity to build the individual donor development strategy and infrastructure.

• Develop and execute Mano a Mano’s annual individual donor fundraising plan
• Secure financial support from individuals, family foundations and corporations
• Cultivate and nurture relationships with current and potential corporate, foundation sponsors, and individual donors

Our Sensory Department conducts taste tests for various clients. To become a consumer taste tester you must first access our company website and follow the link to become a taste tester. Once you sign up to be in our data base by completing an online survey regarding your food preferences and basic demographics, you will be contacted on a as needed basis. When contacted, you will need to complete a study specific survey online. You must qualify for the criteria established by our clients in order to be contacted for a taste testing appointment.
When you participate in the taste test, you will be provided with samples to taste and then asked to provide your opinions on the computer.
You will be paid an honorarium ( that is pre-established with our client) once you complete the tasting session. The honararium varies and is dependent on the amount of time involved in the testing.
Participation is sporadic and is dependent on our clients' needs and specific requirements.
We conduct our studies during the day and evenings. Some studies are only for a single day, where others may involve multiple visits. Once you participate, there is usually a waiting period of up to three months before you might be contacted again, unless we need to have you return sooner.
If the study requires more than one session, this information will be made clear on the study questionnaires posted online as well as when your appointment is established.

Description: POSITION SUMMARY:

Accounting duties & responsibilities

Using Quick Books, prepare accounting records, monthly and annual financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.

Responsible for:
-processing accounts payable, accounts receivable, petty cash and gift cards

-making deposits, processing donations made online, reconciling bank statements (checking, money marketing and investment), recording in-kind donations, transferring funds

-Bi-weekly payroll (Payroll is done by Paychex ) and the following:
Employee benefits – time off, vacations, health, dental, and life insurance, pension
Taxes: employer and employee, W-2 & 1099 
Unemployment and employment verifications
Applying for health insurance reimbursement from the government

-Working with auditors, Province finance department and make sure HGS meets federal and state reporting deadlines and other tax requirements.

-processing any insurance claims and working with the Corner Stone insurance and Province personnel

-developing annual budget in consultation with the Executive and Development Directors, presenting the budget to the Finance committee, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs 

-maintaining a list of online bill payment user names and passwords and secures financial information by completing data base backups

-attending finance committee meetings and board meetings when requested

-Providing financial information to the development staff, especially for grant writing and reporting, at their requests

-keeping office equipment maintenance records, calling for repairs, etc. 
-creating monthly invoices by allocating the expenses that are related to Sisters of the Good Shepherd of Chicago
