Description: 

This position is responsible for the overall maintenance of the Church. This includes janitorial activities, setting up furniture in support of the various church ministry events and other tasks as assigned by performing the essential duties and responsibilities as stated below.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs cleaning and sanitizing of all ministry areas assigned, including vacuuming, washing floors, bathrooms and wiping down horizontal surfaces
• Sets up and takes down furniture in support of all ministry events/functions
• Performs a variety of work in the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds
• Maintains grounds in a clean and orderly manner including setting sprinklers and maintaining watering equipment
• Ensures safety of grounds during winter months, including snow removal and salting of sidewalks and emergency exits

The Individual Donor Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing Mano a Mano Family Resource Center’s individual donor development strategy. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Individual Donor Manager will be responsible for achieving the agency’s individual fundraising goals. This includes leveraging key
relationships within and outside Lake County to ensure meeting Mano a Mano’s revenue goals. A new position in the organization, the Individual Donor Manager will have the opportunity to build the individual donor development strategy and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
• Develop and execute Mano a Mano’s annual individual donor fundraising plan
• Secure financial support from individuals, family foundations and corporations
• Cultivate and nurture relationships with current and potential corporate, foundation sponsors, and individual donors
• Develop and grow our individual donor base; manage annual giving campaign;

• Create and execute a strategy for a large sustained base of annual individual donors

Our Sensory Department conducts taste tests for various clients. To become a consumer taste tester you must first access our company website and follow the link to become a taste tester. Once you sign up to be in our data base by completing an online survey regarding your food preferences and basic demographics, you will be contacted on a as needed basis. When contacted, you will need to complete a study specific survey online. You must qualify for the criteria established by our clients in order to be contacted for a taste testing appointment.
When you participate in the taste test, you will be provided with samples to taste and then asked to provide your opinions on the computer.
You will be paid an honorarium ( that is pre-established with our client) once you complete the tasting session. The honararium varies and is dependent on the amount of time involved in the testing.
Participation is sporadic and is dependent on our clients' needs and specific requirements.
We conduct our studies during the day and evenings. Some studies are only for a single day, where others may involve multiple visits. Once you participate, there is usually a waiting period of up to three months before you might be contacted again, unless we need to have you return sooner.
If the study requires more than one session, this information will be made clear on the study questionnaires posted online as well as when your appointment is established.

Elston Avenue United Methodist Church is a warm, multi-cultural church on the Northwest Side of Chicago, IL, looking for an experienced Choir Director and Pianist for part-time position. Primary duties are to provide piano accompaniment in a variety of styles (hymn, contemporary, with voice or additional instruments) at weekly Sunday service, and provide direction and selection of music for a variety of in church musical groups (a main Chancel Choir, and occasional men’s, women’s, and children’s breakouts). The position will require attendance at weekly 10:30 a.m. Sunday Worship Services, weekly rehearsals (at a time to be scheduled at the mutual convenience of choir and Director) and some additional special services such as Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Christmas Eve.
