Opening and Closing schedule for 2012-2013
Returning Student Check-In
Returning students (sophomores, juniors, and seniors) may check in to housing on Saturday, August 25 or Sunday, August 26, 2012 between 9am to 9pm.
Fall Break (Friday, October 19, to Sunday, October 21, 2012)
All of NPU’s undergraduate housing remains open.
Thanksgiving (Thursday, November 22, to Sunday, November 25, 2012)
All of NPU’s undergraduate housing remains open. Aramark’s last meal is dinner on Wednesday and reopens for breakfast on Monday.
Christmas/Winter Break
NPU’s undergraduate housing closes for the winter break. Students must leave 24 hours after their last final. Students with finals on Friday, December 14, 2012 must leave by 10:00 am on Saturday, December 15, 2012. Aramark’s last meal is dinner on Friday. Apartment, house, and Sawyer Court residents may petition to stay in housing during the winter break; a fee may apply.
January
NPU’s undergraduate housing reopens at noon on Sunday, January 13, 2013. Aramark opens for breakfast on Monday.
Spring Break (Saturday, March 9, to Sunday, March 17, 2013)
Halls close at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 9, 2013. ARA’s last meal is dinner Friday. Halls reopen at noon on Sunday, March 17, 2013. Aramark reopens for breakfast on Monday. Apartment, house, and Sawyer Court residents may stay in their assigned residence during spring break.
Easter Break (Friday, March 29, to Monday, April 1, 2013)
All of NPU's undergraduate housing remains open.
May
All of NPU’s undergraduate housing closes for the summer. Students must leave 24 hours after their last final. Students with finals on Friday, May 10, 2013, must leave by 10:00 am on Saturday, May 11, 2013. Students participating in graduation may remain until 10:00 am on Sunday, May 12, 2013. Aramark’s last meal is dinner on Saturday.
Students interested in staying on campus during the summer can apply for housing in the Office of Residence Life and Housing.
We are unable to accommodate requests for early arrivals or late departures. Please make your travel plans accordingly.
