Student Government Association

Student Government Association

North Park University's community of students is led by the Student Government Association (SGA). SGA officers and representatives are elected by students to one-year terms with the responsibility of serving as the official voice of students to the University's board, administration, faculty, staff, and external constituents.

SGA Office

The SGA Office is located in Burghatory (the basement of Burgh Hall). We exercise an open-door policy — feel free to stop in and talk to anyone in the office whenever the door is open. We would love to meet with you!

Connect with SGA — and other students

You can find all the SGA details you need at North Park's Student Life presence on OrgSync. This platform is used for communicating event and club details, sharing information among the student body, and conducting SGA business. The North Park Press, all clubs, and select University departments are all on OrgSync. Log in with your North Park username and password to get connected.

Serve in SGA

Elections for freshman senators take place early in September; and sophomore, junior, and senior senator elections are held each March. Consider putting your name in the hat, and watch campus announcements and OrgSync for all the details.

Many other opportunities exist, as well, to join a club, the staff of the student newspaper, or volunteer for service opportunities. Explore what clubs, organizations, and opportunities are out there. Find your perfect fit in student life at North Park!
