Engagement on Many Levels at the Annual Symposium

Axelson Symposium 2013: The Engagement Effect

Fall 2013

On June 3-4, a record-breaking 570 attendees gathered at the Holiday Inn Chicago Mart Plaza for the 14th Annual Axelson Center Symposium for Nonprofit Professionals and Volunteers. The 2013 theme, The Engagement Effect, focused on how to successfully connect with the people critical to fulfilling a nonprofit's mission - donors, board members, volunteers, staff, management, and community stakeholders. More than 50 presenters shared their expertise and provided resources on topics such as Nonprofit Sustainability, The Art of Retaining Donors, and Achieving Organizational Alignment. A variety of organizational sub-sectors were represented including education, faith-based, healthcare, and human services.

We hope you will join us June 2-3, 2014 as we explore Next Practices, a forward-looking management approach that will keep your organization responsive and strong.
