Academics and Education

A&E believes that it is important for students to realize their full academic potential. A&E is all about organizing fun, educational, and informative for North Park Students. While we promote regular class attendance, we realize that some very important learning happens outside the classroom. This is why A&E is proud to support: a myriad of academic clubs, Geek Week, Film Forum, the North Branch Literary Magazine, Sexuality, Health, and Justice week, the board games Scrabble and Numbles, and all other extracurricular academic pursuits. A&E hopes that students will take a sample of everything on the academic smorgasbord that is North Park; encountering some things for the first time and gorging yourself on the heartiest and most satisfying offerings. So check out a club or to stop by one of our events; really, you won't be sorry.

Associations Representative Council (ARC)

ARC is the umbrella organization under which all NPU cultural associations function. ARC works to maintain and strengthen bridges between the many cultures represented on the North Park campus by programming multi-association events, and providing the funding necessary for individual associations to maintain clubs and provide activities for the Student Body. As students on a journey of creating true community, ARC welcomes the opportunity to serve as the liaison between students of all nationalities, traditions, and beliefs.

Club Sports and Social Events

Social Events is responsible for planning dances, concerts, game days, picnics and many other social activities for the entire student body. In addition they serve as the umbrella organization for club sports like: Men's Ultimate Frisbee; Women's Ultimate Frisbee; and Men's Crew.
