Viking Care Pack
Greetings from the Residence Life and Housing department! We would like to tell you about an opportunity to support and encourage your student. During finals week, students are finishing papers and continuously studying—it’s a busy time for them! We would like to offer “The Viking Care Pack” as a way that you can send your support and encouragement to your student during this time.
These Viking Care Packs will be hand delivered by the Residence Life and Housing Office on the Monday of Finals week.They come complete with the following items:
- Microwave Popcorn
- Hot Chocolate Packet
- Assorted Candy
- Assorted Cereal
- Cookies
- Instant Oatmeal
- Granola Bar
- Rice Crispy Treat
- Fruit Juice
- and much more!
You may also order a gift card to a local restaurant (i.e. Starbucks, Subway, Pizza Hut, McDonalds, Dominos Pizza, etc.) to include in the Viking Care Pack for an additional cost- the amount you want to be assigned to the card. By now you may be asking "how much will all of this cost?" We are pleased to offer this service to you for a minimal cost of $20.
The deadline to submit an order for a Viking Care Pack is December 1, 2009 for the Fall semester and April 26, 2010 for the Spring semester.
As Residence Life staff we are excited about finding new ways to partner with parents/guardians to show students how much we care for them. Below you fill find specific instructions on how to order a Viking Care Pack. How to Order
To order a Viking Care Pack, print and fill out the Viking Care Pack Order form and send it with your cash or check payment and a personalized note of encouragement to your student to:

In order to ensure on-time delivery, please include your student's full name, living area assignment and room number (i.e., Anderson Hall 320) on the order form. Please make all checks and money orders payable to North Park University.
If you are interested, you may also make a donation for a student who may need the support of a Viking Care Pack. If you wish to make a donation, please indicate on your order form the number of care packs that you would like to purchase, and enclose the appropriate amount. The Residence Life staff will deliver a Viking Care Pack on your behalf to a student in need.
