The Presidential Scholarship is giving me the opportunity to attend seminary full-time without a financial burden. God has been shaping me to attend seminary since I was in high school. I am grateful and honored to receive this scholarship!

I knew that I was called to ministry after finishing my undergraduate studies, and was convinced that seminary was a necessary step. I did not know how it would be financially feasible until I was blessed with the Presidential Scholarship. I look forward to my time and ministry at North Park Theological Seminary!

After a conversation with my pastor and some significant events in my life, I began to sense a call to go to seminary. My wife and I were a bit uncertain about how this would work with a family of four. That is where the Presidential Scholarship became a major provision from the Lord. I could not have pursued the call to prepare for service to the church without this scholarship.

I grew up in the Evangelical Covenant Church. Recently God called me to go into full-time ministry. My family and I were excited about the call, but had no idea how it would be possible. The Presidential Scholarship has allowed us to pursue God’s call and we are extremely grateful.

Growing up in the Covenant, I knew that North Park Theological Seminary was the perfect fit to prepare me for my future ministry. I am strengthening my gifts for a future of serving the body of Christ through teaching, formation, and in all the ways I am called to do so. I am extremely grateful for the Presidential Scholarship and for the graciousness of those allowing me to follow God’s will for my life.

Within a year of accepting Christ I felt the call on my life to be in youth ministry. I have always enjoyed working with students and I saw a need for female leaders in the Church. Over the past few years I have interned at three churches. Feeling the call on my life, I decided to attend North Park Theological Seminary to further myself in ministry. I am thankful for the Presidential Scholarship which makes my seminary education possible.
