New Website Introduces Campaign North Park

North Park Campaign

Launches the University's major new fundraising initiative

North Park University’s website is now home to a new "microsite" for Campaign North Park, a $57 million fund-raising initiative to advance science education and the campus experience and to increase support for endowment and academic programs.

After a recent “quiet” phase to build awareness and support, Campaign North Park will be publicly launched on the University campus on June 4, 2011. The new website provides a comprehensive introduction to the campaign’s major fund-raising goals:

Visitors to the Campaign North Park site can explore preliminary interactive floor plans for the proposed 90,000-square-foot building to be located in the University’s central campus. The new facility will offer state-of-the-art science labs, plus high-tech classrooms, seminar and conference rooms, and co-curricular program facilities, as well as space for dining and social interaction.

Produced by North Park’s Office of Development, the website presents profiles of North Park faculty and students and features campaign leadership, including the co-chairs and alumni Dr. G. Timothy Johnson and David S. Helwig, and North Park's President David L. Parkyn.

“Over the past four months, we’ve been hosting momentum-building donor events across the country and engaging our campus community in partnership with this important effort,” says Dr. Parkyn. “We’re now ready to speak more publicly about the campaign and the increased scope of our fund-raising. This website is an important resource to enhance awareness throughout our North Park community in Chicago, nationally, and around the world.”

Site visitors can make secure online donations to Campaign North Park or contact North Park gift officers for additional information.

“This new Web site is a dynamic way to communicate the pressing needs addressed by this campaign. It will also enable many of our alumni, donors, and partners to remain informed and involved in contributing to the University’s future,” says Dr. Parkyn.
