Songwriting for Christian Worship

Gain a valuable theological and pastoral framework for writing songs for worship at Songwriting for Christian Worship, a hands-on workshop designed to equip both beginning and experienced songwriters alike. During learning labs and training sessions, you will grow as an effective songwriter and find special attention given to writing songs for multigenerational and intercultural settings.
Part of an intensive one-credit course available to North Park University and North Park Theological Seminary students, this Saturday session is being offered to the public for a registration rate of $50 per person (group discounts available).

Andrew Thompson is the founding and lead pastor of Columbia Grove Covenant Church in Wenatchee, Wash., a church known for the creative arts. His songs are sung by churches around the United States and Canada and have been featured at the Midwinter Conference of the Evangelical Covenant Church.
Geoff Twigg teaches worship arts at North Park Theological Seminary. As a musician, he has won many major awards, including the Royal Philharmonic Society Prize, and has toured extensively. He also owns a lengthy list of published composition and recording credits. Geoff studied at Trinity College of Music in London as well as at the University of London.
