University Celebrates Winter Commencement Convocation
CHICAGO, IL (December 14, 2007) – North Park University celebrated its Winter Commencement Convocation on Friday, December 14, at 7:30 p.m. in the gymnasium. One-hundred ninety-five students from eight countries crossed the stage to receive degrees at the baccalaureate and graduate level.
Graduates in the School of Adult Learning (GOAL) received degrees in organizational management and human development. Graduates in the School of Business and Nonprofit Management received master’s degrees in business administration and nonprofit administration; other master’s degrees were bestowed on graduates in the schools of Education, Music, and Nursing.
Undergraduate degrees were given to graduates in the arts and sciences, whose degrees included biblical and theological studies, biology, communications, chemistry, English, exercise science, history, philosophy, physical education, politics and government, psychology, Scandinavian studies, sociology, Spanish, and youth ministry. In addition, baccalaureate degrees were given to graduates of the School of Business and Nonprofit Management in business and economics; to graduates of the School of Education in elementary education and early childhood education; to graduate of the School of Music in music; and to graduates of the School of Nursing in nursing.
The University congratulates these students and prays God’s blessings on them as they go forth into the world.
