D'Andrea to be Inducted in St. Pat's Hall of Fame

CHICAGO, IL (April 17, 2008) – Former North Park baseball standout Anthony D’Andrea will be inducted in to the St. Patrick High School Hall of Fame Friday, April 25.

D’Andrea, who is already a member of the North Park Hall of Fame, is a 1990 graduate of North Park and a 1986 graduate of St. Patrick. He was named All-CCIW four times, including CCIW Player of the Year, and was an NCAA Division III All-American in 1990. D’Andrea led the Vikings to two conference championships and three trips to the NCAA Tournament. He broke a school record for most career doubles with 52, a mark that still stands.

At St. Patrick, D’Andrea started for three years on the Shamrocks’ baseball team and was a three-time All East Suburban Catholic Conference selection.
