North Park to Host Seder Meal on April 3
CHICAGO, IL (March 26, 2008) - The Seder is integral to Jewish faith and identity. If not for the Exodus, the Jewish people would still be slaves in Egypt. The Seder Meal is celebrated in remembrance of God's salvation in history and through Christ.
It is a dramatic message of God's salvation of all those who are enslaved today in various ways. Therefore, the Seder is an occasion for praise and thanksgiving. University Ministries invites you to join them on Thursday, April 3, at 5:30 p.m. in the campus cafeteria for the Seder Meal. The Seder will be led by Professor Boaz Johnson from the department of biblical and theological studies. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased through University Ministries. As there is a limited amount of space, it is required that tickets be purchased prior to the meal. If you would like to reserve a seat, email your name to firstname.lastname@example.org.
