Axelson Center Debuts Blog to Advise Nonprofits at Chicago Tribune's ChicagoNow

CHICAGO, IL (June 21, 2010) – The Axelson Center for Nonprofit Management has launched a new blog titled “Nonprofit Chicago: Helping Do-Gooders Do Better.” The blog offers tips, news, and advice on a wide variety of topics at the Chicago Tribune’s ChicagoNow.

Pier C. Rogers (pictured left), director of the Axelson Center and professor of nonprofit management, and Christa Beall Diefenbach, assistant director of the Axelson Center, author the blog. Rogers has spent more than 25 years in the nonprofit field and has been active in the nonprofit research community nationally since the early 1990s. Beall Diefenbach has more than 15 years’ experience as a fundraiser and in other professional roles in the nonprofit sector prior to joining the Axelson Center.
