Advertise in The North Park Press

The North Park Press is the student newspaper of North Park University in Chicago, IL. It is distributed most Fridays during the school year throughout the University, free of charge, to all students, faculty, staff and community members.

The staff, comprised of students, aims towards educating their fellow students with important and relevant information relating to their local and surrounding communities.

A component of our mission is not only to be informed, but connected to the surrounding community by generating more advertising from local and national vendors. We also work to exemplify the diverse community life of Albany Park and you can help us meet that goal by advertising with us.

We look for advertisers who want to inform our students of local places to shop, eat, relax and take advantage of employment opportunities. We also want to invite national organizations and educational institutions to place advertisements in our newspaper.

Online Edition Ads

The Press accepts left-side banner advertising on post pages. We accept very few advertisers at a time, so the ratio of coverage is very high despite the low amount of advertising on the site overall.

Advertisers can pay for ads for any amount of time in one-week increments. One to four weeks is $10 per week. One to six months is $35 per month.

The spot available is 125px wide by up to 600px high, up to 80k file size, with animation loops up to 3 times per 30 seconds (10 seconds long, maximum).

Print Edition Ads

The North Park Press is a newsprint layout that is standard size at 11.38" x 17.00" with 0.5" margins. We ask for a PDF of a photo-ready ad five days before the date of the issue in which you want your ad placed.
