Field Education Requirements

Master of Divinity (MDiv) Students

You are required to complete 11 field education credits in addition to the 92 academic credit hours required for your degree:

• 1 credit earned by taking vocational excellence
• 8 credits earned through internship
• 1 credit earned by completing the CCM
• 1 credit earned through TRM
• 0 credits earned from CPE experience

Master of Arts in Christian Formation (MACF) Students

Both the MACF-ordination and non-ordination tracks require seven field education credits in addition to the 48 academic credit hours required for the degree:

• 1 credit earned by taking vocational excellence
• 4 credits earned through internship
• 1 credit earned by completing the CCM
• 1 credit earned through TRM

Master of Arts in Christian Ministry (MACM) Students

You are required to complete three field education credits in addition to the 36 academic credit hours required for the degree:

• 1 credit earned by taking vocational excellence
• 1 credit earned by completing the CCM
• 1 credit earned through TRM

Master of Arts in Theological Studies (MATS) Students

You must complete two field education credits in addition to the 60 academic credit hours required for the degree:

• 1 credit earned by taking vocational excellence
• 1 credit earned by completing the CCM
