Certificate in Faith and Health

The interdisciplinary certificate in faith and health is offered in collaboration with North Park University’s School of Nursing. This 12-credit certificate is designed to provide a foundation for ministries of health for both clergy and health professionals as they serve their congregations and communities.

Taught by expert faculty in nursing, theology, ethics, biblical studies, and pastoral care, the program offers learning that you can apply in both clinical and congregational settings. You’ll gain resources and enhanced skills to better understand the ways in which faith and ministry practices and effective, ethical health care inform one another.

Courses in the certificate can be applied to a full master’s degree at North Park Theological Seminary. The certificate’s flexible course delivery options allow for distance learning—nearly all the courses are offered online—and for a schedule that fits your needs.
