University Ministries provides on-campus ministry for the North Park University community. Their programs are primarily geared to undergrad students, but seminary students, faculty and staff are welcome to attend CollegeLife (on Sunday evenings) and Wednesday Campus Chapel Services, as well as special lectures and concerts offered by University Ministries. Seminary students also serve in UMIN programs as interns, small group leaders and advisors on UMIN Global Partnership trips, domestically and abroad.
The Seminary provides funding to University Ministries through the Making Connections Initiative Grant, funded by the Lilly Endowment. Funds are used to pay interns and to offset student and advisor costs for Global Partnership trips. Spiritual direction is available to undergrad students through the grant, and is provided by leaders trained in the Seminary's Center for Spiritual Direction.
