A Message from President Gary Walter

North Park was founded by, and remains connected to, the Evangelical Covenant Church (ECC). The ECC is a rapidly growing, multi-ethnic, multi-generational denomination of some 800 churches in the United States and Canada, with partnerships in more than 30 countries of the world. As you explore North Park, please explore the ECC.

There is a simple rhythm to the ECC. We seek to pursue Christ and to pursue Christ’s priorities in the world; we seek to live with God and for God. At North Park you will feel that rhythm as you grow in character, competence, and conviction. 

Early in our history the ECC understood the importance of investing in leaders. That’s why we started North Park. Today North Park graduates serve all over the world, both in the ECC and with scores other organizations. Investing in people who invest in the Kingdom of God—it is what North Park and the ECC are all about.
