Master of Arts in Educational Leadership

The North Park University School of Education prepares competent, respectful, and reflective professionals who are dedicated to serving diverse learning communities.

The master of arts in educational leadership (MAEL) is designed for current elementary and secondary teachers in who wish to earn the principal endorsement on their Illinois educator’s license.

Prospective students must be able to meet a specific set of requirements, including holding a valid and current Illinois teaching license, having at least two years of teaching experience, and demonstrating student achievement in their classrooms.
