Non-Degree Programs: Teacher Certification and Endorsements
The Teacher Certification Program is designed for students who possess an undergraduate degree recognized by the Illinois State Board of Education and wish to be certified to teach without earning an additional degree.
Approvals and Endorsements are additions to an Illinois elementary, secondary, or K-12 teaching certificate teaching certificate that permits a teacher to expand into Bilingual, ESL, Middle School, or Special Ed.
In order to teach in Illinois public schools from preschool through high school, you must have a valid teaching certificate. You can earn your certificate in North Park’s School of Education through undergraduate, graduate and non-degree programs.
Advancing a career in education is made more affordable at North Park University through a variety of financial aid tools.
