Fall 2013

Commuter Student Orientation Day

Friday, August 9

If you're a first-year or transfer commuter student, this day is for you. Not only will you meet your future classmates who are also commuter students, you can skip the long lines on our traditional Welcome Day (August 21) by taking care of business early. You'll have the opportunity to take subject-area challenge exams, get your student ID, ask questions about your classes or student account, and check out our campus and community life. Get all the details you need.

Threshold: North Park's New Student Orientation

Wednesday, August 21 through Sunday, August 25

North Park is excited to welcome a brand-new group of transfer students to our community in August. As transfers, you've already learned the basics about life in college—but we want to make sure you learn all about the North Park community and get plugged in right from the beginning. In fact, we'll help you start now: we've put together a checklist of things you'll need to do as you get ready to start classes at North Park.

Whether you're coming as a commuter student or are planning on living on campus, Threshold is a great chance for you to get to know other incoming students, our faculty and staff, and the North Park campus. Check out the detailed schedule and start planning now. We look forward to seeing you in August.

Stay tuned for more events throughout the year just for transfer students. You'll have even more great opportunities to meet other transfer students, get advice on how to choose your major or plan your class schedule, and find extracurricular opportunities.
