Join us for a free morning workshop where you will discover the Five Keys to Successful Direct
Mail Marketing for nonprofit organizations. Attendees will learn how to properly design mail pieces
to get the most impact at the least postage, trends in mailpiece effectiveness (particularly personalization),
and new postal requirements and developments to improve mailpiece deliverability.
This training will help participants create effective fundraising appeals and campaign performance
measurements, as well as give ideas of how to present the effectiveness of your campaigns to your
board of directors. This class is ideal for executive directors, development staff, volunteers, and
other nonprofit administrators.

Speakers: Rick Schildgen & Larry Urewicz, CL Graphics, Inc.
Rick Schildgen became a partner in CL Graphics, Inc. in 1981, after first teaching graphic arts at both the
high school and junior college level. His primary responsibilities include business management, strategic planning,
sales and estimating.
Rick's accomplishments include: Board Member-National Association for Printing Leadership, Past-President
of Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce, Past-President of the Printers Guild, Outstanding Young
Alumni-Illinois State University, Member of Management Plus Society-NAPL, Past-President of the
Graphic Arts Teachers Association, and is designated as a Certified Financial Management Executive

Rick's area of customer specialty is working with non-profit organizations developing marketing materials
