North Park EmailSetup and Manage your North Park EmailEmail Manager - Use the Email Manager to setup and manage your North Park Email. You can configure forwarding options using the Email Manager. Acceptable Use Policy - Please be sure to read and understand the North Park Acceptable Use Policy and the section concerning North Park Email. Connect to Web EmailOutlook Web Access - Access your North Park email via the web. If you have set up email forwarding, you will not be able to log in, all email is sent to the forwarded address (ex. username@yahoo.com). You can use the Email Manager link above to configure your settings. 2007 Outlook Web Access - Use this link to access your email account if you are on the new Outlook 2007 server. Email Client Configuration (Outlook, PDA's, Smart Phones, etc)You can use Outlook on campus computers to connect to your North Park Email without going through the web. Computer Services does not provide any support for other email clients, or clients on personal machine (including Outlook). However, if you are confident in your ability to set it up correctly, below are the connection settings: Exchange 2007IMAP: mail.northpark.edu, SSL required SMTP: smtp.northpark.edu Exchange 2003IMAP: imap.northpark.edu, SSL required SMTP: smtp.northpark.edu Email Spam FilterSpam Filter - We have a filter in place to scan messages inbound from the Internet. This filter allows users to manage their mailbox settings online and by default sends a weekly quarantine report of blocked items. Via the website you can change how often you receive reports, set email addresses to always allow, always block, and view and release your quarantined items. Our spam filter is set to a high intercept level, so check your report carefully. The software forbid certain attachments deemed security risks. This includes .exe, .com, .bat, .pif, and others. Files that are forbidden or contain viruses may not be released. You can now block messages based upon language as well. The complete user manual may be found here.
