database containing the complete runs of 117 core scholarly journals in
fifteen different disciplines: African-American Studies, Anthropology, Asian
Studies, Ecology, Economics, Education, Finance, History, Literature, Mathematics,
Philosophy, Political Science, Population Studies, Sociology, and Statistics. This is an excellent resource to use to find
articles of high quality.

Go to the
North Park Library’s homepage at http://www.northpark.edu/library.

Click on
“Databases/Articles.”
3.
Choose
“Databases A-Z” or “Databases by Subject.”
4.
Click on
“JSTOR.”
5.
Click on
“Search.” (If you select “Browse” you
can select a particular journal and look at a particular issue or year of that
title, just like browsing through the actual journal.)
6.
Click on
“Advanced Search” for a more focused search.
You can narrow your search by:

journal (you can limit your search to only political science journals)

Click on the
title of the article to read it. To
print or save the whole article, click on “Print” or “Download.” You cannot cut and paste from it. Articles may take some time to download.
