Nassif Podcast Airs August 19
Dr. Bradley Nassif, associate professor of biblical and theological studies at North Park University and widely published author and well-known speaker throughout the Orthodox Churches of North America, has produced a podcast titled "Simply Orthodox," which focuses on the centrality of the gospel for everyday life and liturgy. The purpose of the podcast is "to help listeners understand the basics of the gospel and connect it to their work-a-day worlds as well as the Orthodox Church's rich variety of liturgical celebrations," says Nassif. In addition, it is addressed chiefly to a multicultural audience of Eastern Orthodox Christians who live in North America, Russia, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East.
The podcast will air on August 19 on an internet radio station called Ancient Faith Radio
.The station is pan-Orthodox in its outreach and has been blessed by Archbishop Philip Saliba as an official radio site for the Antiochian Orthodox Church of North America. It is one of the fastest growing internet stations in the Orthodox world today. Non-Orthodox Christians also enjoying the rich variety of liturgical music that is played 24 hours a day. The music includes liturgical selections from ancient Byzantine, Slavonic, Romanian, Bulgarian, and Arabic chants.
