Transfer Credits from another Institution

To receive credit for classes taken at another institution, you will need to:

  • Complete the Application to Transfer of Credit. Include your name and ID number, the total semester hours earned to date at North Park, the term or date of attendance at North Park, the course title and credits you wish to have transferred to North Park, and information about the institution where you took the course.
  • Secure the signatures of the following people at North Park: your advisor, the chair of the department or division accepting the credits, and the assistant registrar.
  • Have an official transcript sent to the Center for Records and Registration by the end of the term.

Sixty-hour rule: You may not transfer credits from a two-year (junior/community) college after you have earned 60 semester-hours of credit.

Residence rule: All candidates for graduation must take the last 30 semester hours of their degree requirements at North Park. At least 10 of these must be in the major field.
